The drive way ends at the house and all the rest of the garden is laid to grass with mature shrubs near the house and trees providing shade. The patio and steps at the front of the house built o St Yriex stone. In front of the house is a small stream with Carp and Koi carp, this water is used for watering the garden. Fruit trees such as Apricot, cherry, kiwi with strawberries and vines, and a vegetable plot.

The local schools are nursery and primary and high school pupils are bussed to Ambazac, not Limoges.
