The house also has wood fired central heating. The boiler is not in an ideal position currently but with some thought you could replace this with a range style wood burning cooker with back boiler as all the pipes are already in place.
In summary if you are looking for a property in a traditional style that you want to make your own mark on this is worth a look; however there is a fair amount of internal modernizing to carry out.
