It has preserved its history as well as moving with the times, restoring and developing old quarters of Périgueux, capital city, and Bergerac into pedestrian areas. The Périgord Vert is a paradise for those who love the countryside, teeming with wildlife such as wild boar, deer and trout, and is ideal for those seeking a tranquil way of life in a truly French rural setting.
