This is one of the most accessible areas of France: there is a TGV train station in Lamballe and it is less than a half hour drive to St Malo and Dinard where you can catch a ferry or a plane to various parts of the UK: St Malo – Portsmouth, Poole and the Channel Islands; Dinard via RyanAir to London, Bristol, Birmingham or East Midlands. Other transport options include ferries to Roscoff, Caen or Cherbourg (1.5-3hrs) or flights to Brest, Rennes or Nantes (1 – 2 hrs).
