Lamballe and Dinan are two of the nearest large towns with weekly markets, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants amongst their half timbered buildings. Lamballe is also famous as the home of Brittany's working horse breeding and training centre and Dinan is a magical blend of Medieval splendor and modern style not to be missed.
Access is very easy, just 40 minutes away are the ferries of St Malo which arrive from Portsmouth, Poole and the Channel Islands or Dinard airport with its regular RyanAir flights from East Midlands, London, Birmingham and Bristol. If that's not enough, in easy reach are Roscoff, Brest, Rennes, Nantes, Caen and Cherbourg with a variety of ferries and flights from all over the UK; there are also TGV services to Rennes, Lamballe and soon, to St Malo.
